Why study Management Information Systems online through OSU?

Offered since 1998, the OSU master’s degree in Management Information Systems provides solutions to business information systems, data and security needs. Format

The Spears School of Business offers online programs as an alternative way to earn a degree. We believe that students should have access to high-quality, affordable education, regardless of their schedule or location. Online courses are available 24/7, and are designed with multimedia content and virtual activities to promote student collaboration.

 

Curriculum

The STEM-designated online program requires 33 credit hours for degree completion, including courses on MIS in business, database management, data warehousing, systems analysis, programming for data science, big data, health analytics, visualization, security, information assurance and professional development. 

Admissions

The requirements for an MIS degree from OSU are:

  • A minimum GMAT score of 550 or GRE score of 305.
  • At least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA, and at least a 3.25 GPA in major.
  • March 1 deadline for international students.
  • July 1 deadline for U.S. citizens.
  • Admissions for the fall semester only.

Cost

Students enrolled in Management Information Systems master's program will complete 33 credit hours during the course of their studies. Cost estimates below are calculated on 2022-2023 rates. Additional cost details and OSU's tuition and fee estimator are available on the Bursar website.
