Format

The Spears School of Business offers online programs as an alternative way to earn a degree. We believe that students should have access to high-quality, affordable education regardless of their schedule or location. Online courses are available 24/7 and are designed with multimedia content and virtual activities to promote student collaboration.

Curriculum

The online MBA is a 33-credit-hour, part-time program delivered asynchronously through OSU's Canvas LMS. The average time to complete the degree is 2.5 to 3 years. In addition to the general MBA, graduate certificate options can be woven into OSU's MBA curriculum to produce an area of preferred specialization.

Admissions

  • Applicants must have a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and submit transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Competitive GMAT/GRE score. Applicants may be considered for a waiver of the test if meeting one of the following criteria: three years professional work experience or military experience after completion of an undergraduate degree, or a Master's Degree, Terminal degree (PhD, DBA, or professional degree MD, DO, PharmD, DDS, JD, DVM) from an accredited institution.
  • Requires two professional letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose. Guidelines for the statement of purpose found within the FAQs here.
  • Online MBA application deadlines:
      • Nov. 1 to begin classes the following spring
      • June 1 to begin classes the following fall
