What sets Early Child Care & Development apart from other programs?

Curriculum

• Curriculum developed by early child care experts at four universities

Admissions

Find admission requirements for online, freshman, international, readmission, concurrent and other students.

After completion of general education courses (40 credit hours) and the majority of elective requirements, students may begin major coursework offered through the IDEA Online Early Care & Education For a Mobile Society (ECEMS) program. Major courses are delivered from participating universities and have unique tuition rates (see below).

Transfer Admission/Degree Requirements

Students who transfer credits of 45 hours or more must hold a 2.50 overall GPA to be admitted to the program. Students with 31-45 credit hours need a minimum of 2.25 overall GPA and those with less than 31 hours a 2.00 overall GPA. Additionally, at least 60 credit hours must be completed at a four-year institution.

Cost

Tuition rates for this program are the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. Students are responsible for textbooks and course materials. Please note, the cost estimate is for the final two years (51 hours) of the program.
