Students, whether current professionals or those seeking credentials, will gain skills
and knowledge that will prepare them to enter the nonprofit sector. This certificate
will prepare them to enter the industry as professionals or board members at a critical
time.
The certificate is designed as a stand-alone course of study or as an additional credential
earned during the pursuit of a graduate degree. Topics include differences between
the for-profit and nonprofit sectors in regard to fundraising and development, managing
a blended workforce of paid staff and volunteers, public image, accountability and
measures of success.

Admissions requirements and deadlines
For fall admission, application must be complete by July 1 of the same year.
For spring admission, application must be complete by December 1 of the prior year.
All transcripts from bachelor degree studies as well as a CV/resume must be submitted
by the deadline in order to be reviewed for admission. Applications that are incomplete
at the deadline will not be reviewed. This application does not require recommendation
letters, purpose statement or entrance exams such as the GMAT or GRE.
