Why study Aviation and Space online through OSU?

The online Master of Science in Aviation and Space encompasses all sectors of the aviation and aerospace industry. The degree is designed to meet the demands of the private and commercial aviation and aerospace industries, government organizations and the U.S. military.

Format

This 100-percent online degree program is delivered through Canvas, OSU’s online learning platform. Accelerated courses are completed asynchronously in an eight-week format. Students enrolled full time can expect to complete their degree in one academic year (fall, spring and summer).

The program requires completion of 33 credit hours, including the following coursework:

Admissions

To apply for the program, submit the following:Student in shuttle

  • Graduate College application 
  • Transcripts from all previously attended institutions (3.0 minimum GPA required; provisional admission may be given to those with a 2.5 minimum GPA)
  • Current resume/vita
  • Personal goal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation 

Application deadlines:

  • April 1 — Fall Semester
  • September 1 — Spring Semester
