This program focuses on all aspects of curriculum, including the content, organization,
social context and educational process of a school, college or other educational institution.
You will study the theory, development, assessment, pedagogy, inquiry and history
of curriculum while addressing issues of leadership, equity, access, advocacy and
voice. Our graduates are prepared for a variety of roles as curriculum and pedagogical
leaders, curriculum planners, curriculum administrators, curriculum consultants, professional
development specialists, teacher leaders or teacher researchers.
This 36-hour master’s program is offered entirely online. Coursework includes curriculum,
teaching, learning, advocacy, leadership, multicultural and diversity issues; research;
and an area of emphasis tailored to your specific interests. Creative component or
thesis required for graduation.
