The master’s degree in Educational Leadership Studies, option in Higher Education
is designed to prepare students for leadership positions at public and private colleges
and universities. Students will study the complex issues facing higher education today,
including administrative and organizational frameworks and the trends and needs of
diverse student populations. The program is intended to provide maximum flexibility
for full-time working professionals.
This degree program is offered 100-percent online. Courses are delivered throughCanvas, OSU’s online learning platform. The program follows a suggested two-year accelerated
completion sequence in which students take two courses per semester (fall, spring
and summer). Students can also complete in three years using a fall/spring sequence.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Applicants are encouraged to submit
application materials at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester.
