Why study Workforce and Adult Education online through OSU?
Recognizing that adult learners are the backbone of the U.S. economy, the Master of
Science in Educational Leadership, Option in Workforce and Adult Education is designed
for individuals who work with adult learners in workforce development efforts at all
levels and in all settings. The program promotes sustainable, equitable economic growth
and collaboration with workforce and economic developers, postsecondary educators,
employers and industry groups, as well as and foundations and other mission-aligned
organizations. Program graduates will be able to foster a culture of innovative, lifelong
learning to help individuals and their communities thrive.
Courses are offered fully online for maximum flexibility for working professionals.
The 36 hours of online coursework is delivered through Canvas, OSU's online learning platform, and utilize Zoom meetings for peer-to-peer collaboration.
