Health care is the fastest growing employment base today. The MS in Global Health
program prepares students to understand chronic, emerging, and re-emerging global
health issues and examine possible measures to address them.
The MS in Global Health is also designed to prepare graduates to comprehend differences
in global health care systems using a historical and socio-political context. Students
will also study and distinguish among the roles and interactions of governmental agencies
in global health. Courses are taught by faculty with expertise and experience in
the healthcare field.
This 32 hour, fully online program has a thesis or practicum option for students.
The course are taught by OSU faculty who teach students to address current local, national, and international health problems
through approaches that apply recent and impactful empirical scientific knowledge.
Program courses are offered using 8- and 16-week formats.
Courses are taught asynchronously so students can fit them into their schedules.
The Health Care Administration program also offers three graduate certificates that
can be earned independently.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Applicants are encouraged to submit
application materials at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester.

Cost
Students enrolled in the Global Health online master's program will complete 32 credit
hours during the course of their studies. Cost estimates below are calculated based
