The MS in Health Care Administration is ranked in the top five programs in the United
States. Healthcare is the fastest growing employment base today. This program prepares
students for management or executive positions in health care. HCA students come from
a variety of backgrounds including nursing, business, IT, human resources, and marketing.
The program is designed to prepare someone with no background in health professions
to develop the knowledge and skills needed to be a successful leader.
This degree program is 100 percent online. Courses are delivered through Canvas, OSU’s online learning platform. Program courses are offered using 8- and 16-week
formats. Courses are taught asynchronously so students can fit them into their schedules.

Curriculum
The curriculum is broadly designed to prepare students for management or leadership
positions in any healthcare organization. Students who discover internship opportunities
may receive credit for such opportunities.

Admissions
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Applicants are encouraged to submit
application materials at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester.
