Why study agricultural leadership from OSU?

This program is no longer accepting applications for the online format. Currently enrolled students will continue to receive support and access to courses needed to complete this degree.  Students interested in this major, can apply to attend on campus at OSU-Stillwater.
Students will study leadership through its application to food, natural resources and agriculture as you prepare to serve as a leader in the industry. You will graduate with a solid foundation in leadership as it relates to effectively working with people and teams from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The five core values of the major are commitment to agriculture, authentic leadership, diversity, critical thinking and professionalism. 

The power to motivate people is essential to any organization. As an agricultural leadership student, you will graduate with a solid foundation in leadership as it relates to effectively working with people and teams from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You can take advantage of the major’s flexibility to customize your coursework according to your career interests.

 

Agricultural leadership majors complete 10 leadership classes as they prepare to serve as future leaders and integral team members in the agricultural industry.

The agricultural leadership major offers 18 hours of electives, allowing students ample flexibility to pursue personal interests.
