Why study finance online through OSU?

Broadly speaking, finance is the management of money and includes activities such as investing, lending and budgeting. In a corporate setting, finance functions include managing cash, evaluating corporate investing and raising money. In banking, finance functions include helping firms and households raise cash as well as managing cash and investments. Finance is also involved on a personal level through the management of wealth and investments for individuals.

The Spears School of Business offers online programs as an alternative way to earn a degree. We believe that students should have access to high-quality, affordable education regardless of their schedule or location. Online courses are available 24/7 and are designed with multimedia content and virtual activities to promote student collaboration.

Admissions

Prospective online undergrad students apply through the application portal. Completing the application accurately and taking time to answer the essay questions will maximize your opportunities at OSU. The online application also serves as your application for eligible scholarships at OSU.

Cost

OSU offers undergrad online degree programs at a block rate tuition structure which means students taking 12-18 hours will be charged the same block rate whether they take 12 to 18 hours in a semester. This helps students shorten the time to earn their degrees and assists with financial budgeting. Additionally, OSU accepts transfer credit and all undergraduate students are eligible for scholarships awarded through the university and college.
