Why study management online through OSU?

One of the most important skills any professional can possess is the ability to effectively manage and lead others. Effective management creates a functioning work environment – leading to a successful company. Every day brings a rich mixture of unique challenges that will require an understanding of management issues, legal and ethical problems, human resources as well as strategic or environmental pressures.

Format

The Spears School of Business offers online programs as an alternative way to earn a degree. We believe that students should have access to high-quality, affordable education, regardless of their schedule or location. Online courses are available 24/7, and are designed with multimedia content and virtual activities to promote student collaboration.

 

Career Paths

Students studying management have several options to specialize in their coursework, with 34 to 37 hours of coursework dedicated to a major option. Each option provides real-world situations to handle a variety of organizational problems. Students will develop interpersonal skills to pursue career opportunities in:

  • Human resource management
  • Personnel recruiting
  • Business law
  • Sports administration 
  • Non-profit organizations

Admissions

Prospective online undergrad students apply through the application portal. Completing the application accurately and taking time to answer the essay questions will maximize your opportunities at OSU. The online application also serves as your application for eligible scholarships at OSU.

Cost

OSU offers undergrad online degree programs at a block rate tuition structure for 12-18 credit hours. All undergrad students are eligible for scholarships awarded through the university and college.
