education graduates are highly sought after by school districts and go on to work
in a variety of educational settings, fulfilling their passion to serve students.

Beginning Fall of 2025, this online degree program is delivered through Canvas, OSU’s
online learning platform. Field experiences, including the student teaching internship,
require in-person classroom observations and interactions. Full-time enrollment is encouraged, but not
required. Generally, freshman students enrolled full time can expect to complete their
degree in four years, which includes student teaching during the last semester. Students
with transfer credit should be aware of unique major and professional core course
sequencing. Please note, many upper division courses require synchronous online meetings, typically with cameras on and live interaction throughout the session. Students should plan to attend class in the evening two or more times a week.
