Oklahoma State University Online Health and Fitness Courses for First Responders and Military Personnel
OSU offers four online, self-paced college courses designed to provide the scientific foundations needed for designing health, fitness, and wellness programs for those responsible for training the tactical athlete (i.e., law enforcement officers, firefighters, military personnel, etc). The courses are specifically targeted to undergraduate students interested in working with these populations and tactical athletes responsible for implementation of physical training and wellness programming within their agencies/departments. An Oklahoma State University certificate of completion is awarded to individuals completing and passing each course.  A certificate of series completion is also awarded to individuals completing all four courses with a passing grade. For students who would like to earn college credit, each class provides three (3) academic credit hours from Oklahoma State University (pending). Individual Study courses are online and self-paced allowing up to one year to complete, though each course can be completed in less time.
